Saugeen Shores, Ontario, Canada is located along the shores of Lake Heron at the foot of the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, Canada. The town is formally a result of an amalgamation of 3 townships called Southampton, Port Elgin and Saugeen. It was then, in 1998, the beach region was officially named the Township of Saugeen Shores.
