Stephenfield Provincial Park

Stephenfield Provincial Park is a campground park and water sport destination located on the shores of Stephenfield Lake, nestled beside the Boyne River, in the southern section of the province of Manitoba, Canada near the community of Carman.

Stephenfield Lake is the centre of attention in the park. The lake is a man made reservoir created from the Stephenfield Dam located on the Boyne River. The dam is a sightseeing destination located on the east end of the park. There is trail and road access to the dam.

The main facilities in the park include a large campground and a day use picnic area with a swimming beach. Campground is serviced with many amenities. Swimming and picnicking is also enjoyed near the dam.

Other amenities in the Stephenfield Provincial Park include a boat launch, playground, baseball fields, picnic shelters, yurts, amphitheater, boat dock, fish cleaning stations, park office, sani dump, washrooms and pit toilets.

The activities enjoyed in the park during the summer months include swimming, boating, picnicking, biking, fishing, hiking, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and windsurfing.

The trails in the park vary from short and flat trails suitable for all ages and fitness levels to longer trails with some difficult sections. Trails include the Tanager Trail (4.3 Kms), Bobolink Trail (2.4 Kms), Bluebird Trail (2.2 Kms), Goldfinch Trail (1.2 Kms) and the Surviving Harsh Climate Trail (2.5 Kms).
