Island Park is the main events park and recreation destination located in the community of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. The park is the site of a winter festival of lights, summer events and year round activities.

Island Park is located in the south end of the community situated in the middle of an oxbow of the Assiniboine River. The river bend is shaped like a horseshoe with the centre being the site of the popular park, the fair grounds, a race track and a golf course.

The river oxbow is large enough that the community calls it Crescent Lake. The lake is the site of water sports like boating and canoeing, as well as, it is the home of Water Ski Manitoba.

There are paved trails in the park providing birdwatching opportunities, as well as, walking, jogging, rollerblading and biking. The trail measures 5.2 kilometres and most of the route follows the banks of Crescent Lake. Along the trail are sightseeing benches and information signs detailing the history of the region.

The facilities in the park include a day use picnic area, picnic shelters, duck pond, washrooms, outdoor stage, monuments, flower gardens, tennis courts, water slides, kiddie pool, water park and a playground for children.

During the winter months the pond becomes an ice rink and the trails become xc ski routes. The trails are equipped with night lights so there is night skiing in the park.
