Rainbow Beach Provincial Park is a recreation park situated on the southwest shores of Dauphin Lake located east of the community of Dauphin which is located on the western side of Manitoba, Canada in the Parkland Region.
Some of the summer activities enjoyed in the park include swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, sunbathing, camping, picnicking and birdwatching. During the winter months the activities enjoyed include ice fishing, snowmobiling and cross country skiing.
Rainbow Beach Provincial Park is situated in the Aspen/Oak Parklands Natural Region of Manitoba, Canada. The lakefront park is divided into two sections - a campground and a day use area. Both provide quick access to a lakefront walking trail and sandy beach.
The day use area includes many amenities important to travelers. Some of the amenities include an unsupervised swimming area, boat launch, playground, changing rooms, concession stand, day use picnic site with picnic shelter, sani dump, washrooms and access to fresh water taps.
Located on the shores of the lake is a walking trail connecting the day use area to the campground. Continue walking west pass the campground and one can connect to Dauphin Beach and if one walks east pass the day use area one can connect to Ochre Beach.
