Built in 1827, Fort Langley National Historic Site was a Hudson's Bay Trading Post. Apparently this is the site where the province of British Columbia was formed. In addition to touring the fort the park offers a variety of activities including, Hidden Histories Tours, audio tours, and children's activities. Fort Langley National Historic Site has overnight camping and hosts numerous events like Brigade Days. The fort is accessible.The park is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm and is closed on December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1. As this is a national historic site a Parks Canada Pass is required.
