Where to Find the T.E Draper Tugboat

You'll find this fun and interesting roadside attraction in the beautiful little village of Angliers, Quebec, Canada. This historic Tugboat has its forever home right along the shores of the gorgeous Lac des Quinze. An easy find at 11 Rue du Draper, along the lakeside near the big dam on town. It definitely stands out with its fun, well kept paint job.

The T.E Draper is of significance to the area based on its long life serving on the shores of this stunning lake. This boat ran on these waters from 1929-1972 as a lumber tugboat. Wood drifting or log rolling g was a huge industry in this region of Quebec. After or before you visit the T.E Draper, hop over to Chantier Gédéon, a realistic reconstruction of the lumber camps from back in the 1930s-40s. 

Take a Tugboat Tour at Lac des Quinze 

Interestingly, you can hop aboard this historic, landbound, tug and explore a day in the life of workers from the past. Additionally, you'll hear tales of the men who kept this boat running all those years as well as some stories they left behind. A true lumber tugboat experience on Lac des Quinze in Quebec, Canada. You'll learn this was the largest timer tug in operation on the lake during it's lifetime. And you can also pop into the hanger next door to the boat for some further information.
