The trail is a short 750 metre elevation hiking trail leading to a viewpoint overlooking the Stewart River wetland. This Devil's Elbow region is part of the Na-cho Nyak Dun First Nation Traditional Territory.

The Sign Post Forest was established in 1942. The forest was a simple idea created by a soldier who was visiting from Danville Illinois, USA named Carl Lindley. Carl was assigned to Watson Lake during the construction of the Alaska Highway.

A resting spot for many activities and sightseers. The park enjoys large grass lawns, a waterfront path, washrooms, viewing benches, picnic tables, gazebo shelter, beach volleyball, a playground and a splash park.
