Fisheye Lake in Faro, Yukon Territories, Robert Campbell Region, Canada is a popular recreation park. The park is a day use area visited for outdoor activities like canoeing, fishing, swimming, birdwatching and picnicking.

The main highlights of Fisheye Park include the many activities mentioned above, the picnic facilities and the sandy beach area. From the beach there are clear views of the lake. Views enjoyed while sitting on the sand or from any of the viewing benches positioned nearby.

The lake and day use area enjoy a good selection of amenities for such a small park. Some of the amenities include a boat launch, picnic tables, fire pit, change rooms, pit toilets, a playground and, yes, some more sitting benches.

It is not uncommon to see canoes lining the shores of Fisheye Lake when visiting the park. Some canoes are beached upright, in plain view, ready for use while others are flipped over hidden away in the trees.

Some arrive at the lake to swim, some to canoe while others arrive to fish. For many Fisheye Lake is a fishing lake stocked regularly with rainbow trout and kokanee salmon (fresh water salmon). Remember a fishing licence is required to fish in the Yukon.

Fisheye Lake is also home to birds and wildlife. Birdwatching includes watching ducks dive under water and listening to the haunting sounds of the loons. Also be aware you are in Bear Country too.

Travel the Campbell Highway (Hwy #4) to the community of Faro, Yukon Territory in Canada. When approaching Faro take the first exit on your right prior to the exit road leading into the village of Faro, Yukon. The first right is the entrance to Fisheye Lake.
