The Kelliher and District Cenotaph

Memorial Monument to honour Veterans of the First and Second World Wars.

The Kelliher and District Cenotaph is a Memorial Monument to honour Veterans of the First and Second World Wars.Located on Highway #15 in the Village of Kelliher, Saskatchewan the Kelliher and District Cenotaph was built in 1919.

The base of the Cenotaph is made of concrete with a marble point. A short ceremony and wreath laying is held on Remembrance Day each year. A brass plaque with the names of those who lost their lives was installed with the help of the local Legion. Originally the names were carved into the Cenotaph base, however, the weather and years took a toll so the plaque was installed. The Village of Kelliher is responsible for the Cenotaph's upkeep.

The Village of Kelliher was incorporated in 1909 and is a quaint village worth exploring.
