Springbank Park is a huge park located along the shores of the winding Thames River in the beautiful southwest city of London, Ontario. A long, linear, well-forested park that is over 300 acres in size with over 39 kms of easy use and access trails. Family friendly with many ammenities, Springbank Park is a great place for all kinds of summer and winter outdoor activities.

With over 30 trails, hiking, biking, rollerblading or jogging the treed pathways will provide hours of enjoyment along the scenic Thames River. The tree lined pathways provide an excellent canopy of shade during the hots days of summer making it a popular and perfect place for a relaxing stroll with your dog.

It has a long history in London, with an old pumping station dating back to 1878, a dam and the famous Storybook Gardens.

Storybook Gardens is located in the middle of Springbank Park and was built in 1958. A cherished favourite family destination Storybook is an enchanted storybook environment for young children, themed around storybooks, fairy tales, and nursery rhymes.

Many birds can be seen along the shores of the Thames River such as Geese, American Goldfinch, Blue Jays, Cardinals, Cedar Waxwing, Chickadees and more so be sure to bring your binoculars and camera.

In the winter, the park features a beautiful outdoor 250 metre skating trail. The trail is refrigerated for excellent skating conditions as the trail winds its way through the trees, filled with holiday lighting. After your skate, enjoy a hot chocolate and a Beavertails pastry from the new Beavertails concession outlet.
