Largest Community Park in Downtown Toronto Canada

Ramsden Park, one of the largest public parks in downtown Toronto, Ontario, is located at 1020 Yonge Street. It can also be accessed via Pamsden Park Road and Pears Avenue.

Highlights of Ramsden Park

When in season, this park enjoys a collection of cherry blossoms, daffodils and lavender flowers. The park has various attractions such as playgrounds, basketball courts and hockey rinks.

Kid Friendly

Its large size allows for large open space for young children to practice soccer in teams. There is a fenced-in dog park and walking trail. There are plenty of benches throughout the park, many of which are located in the shade of very large trees.

George Elliot Clark

There is a momument at the main entrance which quotes a poem by George Elliot Clark, who was appointed to the order of Canada in 2008, with the rank of Officer.
