Sir Sandford Fleming Park (also referred to as Dingle Park) is a 38 hectare (95 acre) historical and recreational urban park created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of representative government in Nova Scotia. In 1912 the Dingle Tower was erected to honor this occasion. Today the park is best known for its forested trails, a frog pond and a sandy beach.
