Egypt Falls (aka Pipers Glen Falls or Appin Falls) is one of the more challenging short hiking trails (2 kilometre return) and the finest cascading waterfall in the region around Baddeck, NS, Canada. The falls is the widest falls on Cape Breton Island measuring 18 metres (60 feet) wide. The trail is a steep climb down to the falls and tough hike back up. Luckily there are ropes along the route to assist during the toughest sections.

From downtown Baddeck, Nova Scotia, Canada it is a 73 kilometre (58 minute) drive south along Highway #105, and then north on Highway #395, then east on Egypt Road, south on Piper's Glen Road to the falls. The trailhead is well hidden and identified by a flag and maybe a sign. Keep a sharp lookout. Driving time from Halifax, NS, Canada is approximately 3 hours, 44 minutes (343 kilometres).
