Point Daly Reserve is home to a network of short and easy going hiking trails, boardwalks, and wooden bridges exploring a salt marsh, wetlands, beach, forests and fields. The biodiversity of the marsh makes it a top destination in the region for birding (birdwatching).
Point Daly Reserve adventures, and activities most enjoyed in and around the park are hiking, birding (birdwatching), beachcombing, picnicking, sightseeing, dog walking (on leash) and snowshoeing.
The best trails to explore in the reserve include the White Pine Trail (0.66 kms), Woodland Trail (0.59 kms), Salt Marsh Trail (0.8 kms), Coastal Pathway (1.12 kms), and the Warbler Trail (0.65 kms).
A few of the more popular amenities and services located in and around the Point Daly Reserve includes an interpretive centre, lookout tower, information signs, sightseeing benches, guided tours, and educational and recreational programs.
The wetland region is home to the Maritime Ringlet Butterfly. It is a small butterfly that lives exclusively in the salt marsh in this region. Local efforts are in place to protect this species of butterfly.
