Canada Day at Selkirk 2024 is on Monday, July 1st on the Waterfront in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada.

The City of Selkirk presents Canada Day at the Selkirk Waterfront on Monday, July 1, 2024.
A Canada Day Celebration the whole family will enjoy with cultural programming, food vendors, a market, live entertainment, and an incredible Fireworks Display at 11 pm.
This is an outdoor event (weather permitting)
Please remember to bring a lawn chair!

Glitter Bug will offer glitter tattoos - add some sparkle to your Canada Day celebrations.
These temporary tattoos are designed for all ages and will provide a fun and festive experience.

Kurrent Motion Hoop Jam
Kurrent Motion’s signature Hula Hoop Jam bridges the gap of play between all generations and includes everyone regardless of age, gender, or skill level.

City of Selkirk Block Party Trailer
The City of Selkirk will pack the Block Party Equipment Trailer with exciting games for families to enjoy.

Makers Market Hosted by Bud and Bloom from 4:00 – 10:00 pm

Bud & Bloom are returning with their third annual Canada Day Market. This 100% HANDMADE market features amazing local makers who sell honey, soap, jewelry, candy, and much more!

United for Literacy’s Tales & Trails Storybook Walk from 12:00 – 8:00 PM

This Canada Day, experience a new kind of storytelling with United for Literacy’s Tales & Trails storybook walk. Take a stroll and enjoy successive pages from the children’s story “Rock Your Mocs” by Laurel Goodluck and Madelyn Goodnight. This book celebrates cultural heritage, the joy and power of wearing moccasins all year round – and the Native pride that comes with them. Tales & Trails is an innovative and exciting way for children and adults to enjoy reading and the outdoors simultaneously.

Tales and Trails will be set up near the pool entrance. Count the mocs for a chance to win a family prize package!

Selkirk Park Pool
Inside beautiful Selkirk Park surrounded by mature trees, manicured grass, and a sandy beach is a 110 by 95-metre pool with approximately 5 million litres of water! With a paved bottom and an accessible beach entry, Selkirk Park Pool offers swimmers a unique experience, complete with an 18 Feature Splash Pad adjacent to the swimming pool!

Pool Hours for Canada Day are from 12:00 – 8:00 PM (weather permitting)

Admission is free to Non-Residents on Canada Day.
A wonderful event in a beautiful Manitoba community!
