DESCRIPTION:Spock Days is a community oriented, celebration of Vulcan, Alberta and the unique marketing and branding opportunity the town's name presents. Vulcan is a town in the prairies of Southern Alberta. It is located midway between the cities of Calgary and Lethbridge on Highway 23.\nNow known as the "Official Star Trek Capital of Canada," Vulcan has a Tourism building made to look like a landed space station, a statue of the Original Series Enterprise, and other Star Trek attractions.\n \nCelebrating over 25 years Spock Days has included many different events over the years as organizers attempt to bring more people to visit Vulcan and to showcase all the town has to offer.\n \nIn 2018 Spock Days saw the return of events such as the slo-pitch tournament, fireworks, pancake breakfast, family fun fair, beer gardens and cabaret. The weekend also featured new events such as the mini buckers, the Kinsmen soap box derby, taste of Vulcan, tech town and a 9-hole golf tournament Sunday afternoon organized by the Vulcan Golf & Country Club to help wrap up the weekend.\nJoin us June 7th to 9th for some Trekkie Fun!\n \n
