DESCRIPTION:The 79th Annual Festival of the Performing Arts Grand Concert is this Saturday March 4th starting at 7pm. Since February 22nd there has been a variety of events that have showcased local talent in choir, vocal, band, piano, strings, speech arts and dance. This is for amateur performers of all ages that are invited to preform in this annual event.\n\nThe Rotary Club of Powell River has sponsored the festival since 2003, and offers all participants the best possible support for their artistic development. It provides them with the opportunity to learn from each other and gain stage experience in a friendly atmosphere. Every participant will learn and improve with feedback from adjudicators.\n\nTickets: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students.
