DESCRIPTION:Canada Day marks the anniversary of Confederation and also offers us time to grieve, learn, reflect, commit to understanding the truth and move ahead towards reconciliation. The City of Edmonton acknowledges the traditional land on which we reside is in Treaty 6 Territory. We do this to create awareness that we are all treaty members, and to show recognition and respect for Indigenous Peoples and the traditional territories on which we live and work.\nFireworks Show\nTime: 11pm\n\nEnjoy the magnificent fireworks display over Edmonton’s river valley parks and the North Saskatchewan River.\n\nThe fireworks will be live-streamed for anyone who would like to watch from home. \nFireworks Viewing and Access\nGood viewing locations:\n\nAlberta Legislature Grounds \nVictoria Park\nEzio Faraone Park (west entrance to High-Level Bridge on 109 Street north) \nGovernment House Park\nViewing areas accessible on foot only (closed to vehicles):\n\nRiver Valley Road\nWalterdale Hill Road and Promenade \nQueen Elizabeth Park, Hill, and Road\n109 Street (between Saskatchewan Drive and the High-Level Bridge) \nNote: No viewing is available from Kinsmen Park. \n\nPedestrian access will be unavailable in Kinsmen Park (including trail access), and the High Level and Menzies Bridges after road closures are in effect.
