Witty's Lagoon Regional Park is a 56 hectare park popular for many summer activities. The park is the essence of a natural water park. There is a waterfall, a beach, some trails,  a creek, a salt marsh, a spit and a rocky shoreline. All provide exploration and entertainment.

On site there is a Nature Centre and picnic tables. It is a great way to familiarize yourself with the park, to grab a trail map and to learn more about the marine life in the area.

The creek in the park is called Bilston Creek. The creek is surrounded by douglas-fir and broadleaf maple trees. The creek leads to a waterfall which is best viewed in the winter months when it is rolling at its peak.

Because the lagoon is warm and shallow it tends to attract many families to the area. At low tides children can be seen exploring tidal pools and learning about the local marine life.

Nearby, there  is a salt marsh teaming with marine wildlife like crabs and snails. The green like slim on top is called glasswort. It is essential for the marine wildlife to thrive.

Birding is big in Witty's Lagoon Regional Park.  There have been over 165 species spotted in the park. One can view species from the Great Blue Heron to the smaller sandpiper.
