Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park is a waterfall and hiking destination located near the communities of Qualicum Beach and Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The park highlight is a boardwalk trail leading to a gorge with viewing platforms overlooking some waterfalls.
The hiking trail follows along the gorge cliffs high above the Qualicum River. The boardwalk pathway is well protected with guard rails and hand rails. However, being so close to the falls and river the pathway is often slippery from the moisture in the air. It is important to take your time and step wisely.
The viewing platforms in the Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park provide views of the lower and upper falls. The upper bridge, lower bridge and a few lookouts along the boardwalk trail provide the best views of the falls.
There are over 6 kilometres of walking trails throughout the 440 hectare Little Qualicum Falls Park. Most of the trails begin from day use area in the park.
