Park Amenities:
Coopers Green Regional Park is located north of Sechelt, BC nearest the community of Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. The small waterfront park is a day use destination area that is a popular gathering place for visitors interested in enjoying a picnic, a game of horseshoes, a day out scuba diving, swimming, playing outdoor volleyball or to launch a boat.
A popular Sunshine Coast diving destination because of the warmer water temperatures than the west coast norm. The shallow waters is ideal for beginner divers. Plenty of opportunity for marine life viewing, as the area is the home of the giant Pacific Octopus. If diving is not your thing , the low tides reveal tidal pools for the land marine life explorer.
Coopers Green Regional Park has washroom facilities and a community hall onsite. Just off shore there is a small island where divers converge for an alternative dive. Here, a scuba diver could come face to face with a wolf eel and/or rockfish.
