Kleanza Creek Provincial Park and Trail in Terrace, British Columbia, Canada means "gold" in the language of the Gitksan First Nation people. Today, it is a 269 hectare forested destination with hiking trails, a canyon, a day use area and a campground situated on the shoreline of the Kleanza Creek (seems more like a river) located just east of the community of Terrace.

The day use area in Kleanza Creek Provincial Park is on the banks of the creek and comes complete with picnic tables, viewing benches, horseshoe pits, BBQ pits, outhouses, a large parking lot and grassy area. Lots of viewing areas to watch the white water rapids push through canyon walls and people playing in the wading pools created by boulders.

The activities most enjoyed in the park are swimming, camping, picnicking, sightseeing and hiking. The Viewpoint Hiking Trail leads all explorers to the top of a bluff out onto a viewing area providing an opportunity to look down 24 metres into the canyon valley and onto Kleanza Creek. The hard-packed earth, pine needle cushioned trail is family friendly, wide and follows switchbacks to the top for 1 kilometre. The trail is steep and depending on your fitness level should take no longer than 30 minutes to reach the top.

The hiking trail opens up when approaching the viewing area at the end of the trail. Here... the cliff edges are protected by fencing. Please do not venture outside the fenced area. It is in place to protect visitors from themselves and to ensure the continued growth of the sensitive flora and fauna of the region. At the top of the trail the main viewing area is to your right where the wooden sitting bench is hidden in the trees.

When entering the park area there is a gravel road leading to the left and up a mountain. For the hearty explorer this route leads up Bornite Mountain to another trail with scenic views.
