Jericho Beach is located in the City of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The popular sandy beach is larger than most beaches on the strip and is considered a sunbathing destination, as well as, a destination for wind sports like windsurfing and sailing.

Jericho Beach is 1 of the 10 sandy beaches spanning a total of 18 kilometres (11 mi.) located on the coastline of English Bay in the City of Vancouver.

Jericho Beach, like the other beaches on the coastline, is easily accessible by vehicle and by foot, bike or rollerblading via the Seawall pathway.

The main activity centre at Jericho Beach is the sailing club facilities located on the western end of the beach. The sailing club provides sailboat and windsurfing rentals and lessons. The sailing club building is easy to spot - just look for the sailboats and windsurfers cutting up the surf.

On the other side of the beach - the eastern side - the activities enjoyed include swimming, relaxing, beach volleyball, picnicking and sunbathing.

Some of the services and amenities available at Jericho Beach include food and drink vendor, washrooms, change rooms, picnic day use area, showers, tennis courts and a lifeguard on duty during the summer months between May and September. Pay parking is available.

How to Get Here: The main entrance to Jericho Beach is located at the south end of Burrard Street Bridge. First travel west on 4th Ave and then north on Discovery Street to the parking lot.
