Park Amenities:

Mile "0" Rotary Lake Park is a recreation and historical destination park situated on the Alaska Highway located in the community of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada. The park is home to a small man-made swimming lake, playground, campground and a historical pioneer village.
Rotary Lake Park, sometimes called Kinsmen Park, is a popular swimming destination in the region while the Walter Wright Pioneer Village attracts those who would like to take a step back in time touring historical buildings. Both parks share the same entrance off of the Alaska Highway.
Rotary Lake Park provides a full day of activities. Families, couples and children arrive to swim in the man-made lake, lounge in the shade under the looming trees, enjoy a picnic and to watch their children laugh while playing in the playground.
Please check operating hours of the park for access times. Onsite in the park is a changing room and washrooms. But there is no lifeguard. Inside the fenced swimming park is a series of picnic tables and some sitting benches. The park is easily accessible, close to downtown Dawson Creek.
