John Chabot Provincial ParkToday, the park is a very popular summer lake destination for adventure, beach, sun and fun. The 14 hectare park includes a sandy beach, grassy lawns, wheelchair accessible flush toilets, change rooms, running cold water taps, lakefront playground, many picnic tables - with some under the shade of trees.

While enjoying a day in the James Chabot Park, every new visitor should take the time to explore the wetland marsh along the Dragonfly Boardwalk Trail.

The wheelchair accessible trail runs a short 350 metres along the edge of Windermere Lake. It is an interpretive pathway with information signs placed along the trail explaining the wetland habitat and the birding wildlife in the area.
