The 2 hectare park is situated on Burill Point. The park is easily accessible and within walking distance of the village shops and services in Sturdies Bay. It is a 1 kilometre walk from the ferry terminal to Bellhouse Park.

Bellhouse Park is a popular sightseeing and picnicking destination on Galiano Island. The ocean views from the park overlook Active Pass and Mayne Island. From the shores of Bellhouse Park one can observe wildlife like seals, sea birds, predator birds and sea lions.

Bellhouse Provincial Park is located by many neighbouring island bays and coves. Whaler Bay, Sturdies Bay and Georgeson Bay - all around the park - attract allot of marine attention. The attention makes Bellhouse Park a destination for watching the comings and goings of boats, sailboats, yachts and the BC Ferries.

Bellhouse Park is a good destination to explore some of the unique limestone formations found on the island. The limestone rocks, over time, have been carved and shaped by ocean waves and west coast winds.

Bellhouse Park day use area is located on the waterfront. It includes picnic tables, sightseeing benches, pit toilets and a short walking trail. The walking trail follows the shoreline exploring through a forest of arbutus and Garry Oak trees. The trail begins from the parking lot and leads to the day use area and to various viewpoints.
