Glenmore Reservoir is a water sport and activity park destination located southwest of the community of  in the Southern Alberta region of Canada.

The Glenmore Reservoir is a result of a dam on the Elbow River constructed in 1932. The Glenmore Dam holds back the Elbow River thererfore flooding the valley and creating Glenmore Lake.

The lake reservoir is a popular recreation destination for water sports, especially wind sports. Some of the more popular water activities include sailing, wind surfing, canoeing, kayaking and boating.

There is no swimming in the lake as the lake is the drinking water reservoir for the community of Calgary, Alberta. However... on the north and south shores of the Glenmore Reservoir there are day use parks.

The South Glenmore Park (including the Weaselhead Flats) is the largest of the two parks measuring over 347 hectares (857 acres).

In South Glenmore Park there is a sailing marina with docks and piers providing sailing lessons and boat rentals. The Calgary Canoe Club and Sailing Club operate from this park on the Glenmore Reservoir.

There is a picnic area with picnic tables, large grass lawns, groves of trees, washrooms, sightseeing benches, water fountains, and a playground with a children's water spray park. And nearby there is even a riding stable.

Exploring the South Glenmore Park is a recreation path popular for hiking, jogging and biking in the summer and xc skiing in the winter. From the pathway there are views of the reservoir and the community of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The North Glenmore Park measures 84 hectares (207 acres). The day use park includes picnic tables, a children's playground, large grass lawns, BBQ pits and tennis courts. Exploring the day use park are some recreation trails for walking, jogging and biking.

The Glenmor Reservoir trails connect to the Elbow River Pathway. The Elbow River Pathway is a paved recreation route, popular for hiking, jogging and biking, which connects to the the Bow River Pathway and the community of Calgary.
